Reformer Pilates is a dynamic form of exercise performed on a specialised machine called Reformer. It uses a system of springs, pulleys, and a sliding carriage to provide resistance and support, helping to build strength, improve flexibility, enhance posture, and develop core stability. Suitable for all fitness levels, Reformer Pilates offers a low-impact yet highly effective workout that can be tailored to individual needs, whether for fitness, rehabilitation, or sports performance.
Absolutely! Reformer Pilates is highly effective for rehabilitation. The low-impact nature of the exercises, combined with adjustable resistance of the Reformer, make it suitable for individuals recovering from injuries or dealing chronic conditions. If you’re recovering from an injury, please consult your medical practitioner and discuss your needs with our team.
Yes! Reformer Pilates can significantly enhance your performance in sports like running, rowing, golf, tennis, cycling, skiing and weight training. By strengthening your core, improving stability, and addressing muscle imbalances, it helps prevent injuries and enhances flexibility and mobility. The dynamic, controlled movements on the Reformer improve range of motion, power, and endurance, leading to more efficient movement patterns. Whether you're looking to optimise performance or recover effectively, Reformer Pilates is a valuable addition to your training regimen. Our instructors can tailor sessions to align with your specific sport and fitness goals.
